No that's not an eel but a shark! The two species of frilled shark are distributed throughout regions of the Atlantic and the Pacific oceans in the twilight zone via day moving to surface at nights. It eats any creature that'll fit in it's mouth. It also hunts it's prey like a moray eel lunging at it grabbing with those needle teeth and swallowing it whole.
This predator can swim thousands of miles upriver, hunt baby hippos, and take over the occasional golf course.
