The original illustration is from Ross Watton's "Anatomy of the Ship" book on the Queen Mary. I added the annotations in an attempt to show some of the structural components of a 1930s steam ship. I apologize for the sloppiness of this image - MS Paint isn't the greatest image editing program in the world, after all.
