(Original Pin) I pinned this website because I was captivated by a 5th and 6th grade art project for creating sand art.  It allows students to have artistic freedom when creating their sand art designs and they get to work with many different types of art materials they have likely never before used.  I appreciate that the teacher that shared this lesson posted several pictures of the sand art creation process as well as suggestions for ensuring the project goes smoothly.
