Super cute 2nd grade Science Fair project idea! - 4 different brands of popcorn. - Pop 2 bags of each brand. - Count all un-popped kernels from the two bags. Divide by 2. - The smallest average is the best brand to buy. Super simple and fun for kids!

a pop corn display with the words which brand pops best? and popcorn on it

The lights addition was the perfect addition to this project. We picked 3 brands of popcorn and popped 3 bags for each brand. Then we separated the un-popped kernals and counted them. Repeat steps for each brand of popcorn. Publix brand had the least kernals left. It was super cool and we learned so much from this project.
