🦠 GERMS AND SOAP EXPERIMENT 🦠
.
In a tray or dish, draw a hand then add
WATER & PEPPER (your “germs”)
.
Dip your finger into dish soap then touch the water.
The soap will cause the pepper to repel away immediately!

THE SCIENCE:
Pepper floats on water due to surface tension. Adding soap breaks the surface tension. As the water spreads away from the soap, it brings the pepper with it.

Dip a finger or q-tip into dish soap and then dip into the pepper & water. Then watch what happens!

This is a good way to show how soap cleans your hands too! 🧼
