Peeps cards

I got my SSS March Card Kit yesterday and began immediately to make this "peep" card. For the cute images I used "Aquarel" pencils (Bruynzeel). And ofcourse "Wink of Stella". This kit comes with a lot of cute patterned papers. And I used the one with those cute Easter eggs. I also used the SSS "Wavy Scallop Stitches" die. I am entering this card in the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge And in the Flickr Challenge #41.

Today, I have a couple cards to show you that I made with the brand new Simon Says Stamp March Card Kit... This kit has the CUTEST peeps and paper ever, here's a pic of what's in the kit... This Easter Peep card is just too adorable and the sparkle dust on the peeps really sparkle and make the card. The pastel plaid really makes it a fun card.

Happy Tuesday! We have a sketch challenge at CAS Colours & Sketches this week. For this card I rotated the sketch 90 degrees. I'm not a big Peeps fan - at least to eat - but they make cute cards. This was easy to create with dies cuts. In fact I already had the pink peep and the scalloped panel cut out from previous cards so this went really fast! Stencil Fun Challenge March 2024 It’s amazing what a piece of tape will do for a stencil! The base card is white card stock with a layer of black card stock. On the main white card stock panel I placed one of the stencils from Newton’s Nook Designs “Bunny Tails Stencil Set” and used artist tape, low tack, across the legs of the bunnies to make them look more like Peeps!
