Overexposed photography

Talking to the San Francisco–based photographer about some of his lesser-known work.

Light, Blinding: This photograph is purposefully overexposed and in black and white to create the effect. The light is so bright as to be blinding in that is obscures the face, in a literal sense. Also the man in the photo probably can't see very well. But that's not the point.
