No-Sew Two Layer Fleece Poncho.  A great alternative to coats because you can strap them into their carseat underneath the poncho!  It is not safe to put a bulky coat on a child in a carseat because you have to loosen the straps, which is dangerous.  This is a great way to avoid that and keep your kids warm!

With or without hood! It's super simple! Items needed for this super simple poncho: ~Fleece (how much will depend on the size of poncho you're making, and if it's going to have a hood or not.
