I made this cake for my son’s 11th birthday. This is his favorite car and wanted a cake to refect his live for this car. I made it into a 3 layer caje 10 inches in diameter. It is frosted with homemade buttercream and I put pie filling in between the cake layers. I frosted the cake in blue and then airbrushed a metalic blue food dye onto the fristing to give it a sheen. The decoations were all done in fondant. The car in top was purchase and is a 1:18 scale diecast mustang.
