This unit will show you how to use fairy tales and historical figures to create a trial in your class. Students will become attorneys, witnesses, defendants and bailiffs. Everything you need is right here in this file. I do this every year and when I announce it is time for Mock Trials again, I literally have students standing and cheering!

Have students throw a trial for Cinderella based off of the "Cinderella is SO Annoying" to judge if Cinderella or the Step-Mother is the guilty party in the relationship. Invite local judicial leaders to come in and observe the trial. The rest of the class is divided into witnesses as cast characters or members of the legal teams.
