J.M. Barrie is related to two books that I love: the first is his fairy tale "Peter Pan". The second is Andrew Birkin's "J.M.Barrie & The Lost Boys", the biography of Barrie: a well documented, moving book that helped me discover many layers of theme to Peter Pan beyond that of a charming story for children. I wonder what Barrie would make of the biography given a note scrawled across the pages of one of his last notebooks "May God blast anyone who writes a biography of me"!
