Halloween house

Before you set out on a mission to browse the attic for the same Halloween decoration props you reuse every year and pretend they're still as good as in 2015, let me tell you something. The world has changed. Things got a whole lot more scary this year. And from what we’ve seen happening in 2020 so far, the Jack-o'-lantern ain’t gonna do much in the spooky department.

It’s that time of the year when we roll up our sleeves, get into the creative mood and make something so spookily wonderful that it sends chills down the neighbors' spine. And while you still have time to figure out what you are gonna wear for Halloween (or shall we stop pretending and just face the fact that we all are going to dress as the green-tracksuited players from Squid Game), the house interior and exterior can’t wait.

In September Kiel and I start off decorating our house with pumpkins and mums. Once October arrives the cornstalks, jack-o-lanterns, and indoor decorations come out (along with the pumpkin attire). We look forward to decorating for this season all year long. When it comes to indoor decorations there is nothing better than the classics.
