Personal piece after about 5 months of client work. Exploring the idea of a futuristic city where gothic architecture remained the dominant influence throughout the development of modern/sci-fi technology. Spent a bit too long on this but wanted to learn and develop a few skills. I always avoid high viewpoints so this was a chance to face that demon.

An alternative view from the Gothic City scene. This one was rendered in Cycles with denoise on and the samples set to 1. It gives an almost Craig Mullins feel to the render. Bit of paint-over too though to help it along, but the 'messy' render does most of the work. Who'd have thought that AI generated art would arrive before decent 'painterly feel' render settings would. Ah well, this will suffice for now.
