The Follicular Phase

The Follicular phase of the Menstrual cycle (days 6-14) is the beginning days of your cycle. During this time, the brain releases hormones needed to produce eggs in the ovary, while increasing estrogen. Having these foods can help you decrease PMS symptoms during this phase. Some anti-inflammatory herbs & roots to aid during this time: turmeric, parsely, cinnamon, ginger, red raspberry tea and danadelion tea.
