Disney Pressed penny display from my Holiday Disney World

The shadow box I made for my pressed pennies. I have been collecting them since 1996 and kept them in a box. It is nice to have them out on display.

This would be a really cute idea to hang up in the nursery or child’s room to put change or dollars in and every time it’s filled up find a place close to home to take them on a little adventure! Like the zoo, aquarium, movie theater, toy shop! I love this!

I am a self-professed pressed penny enthusiast. I always head to Disney armed with rolls of quarters and pennies. It's a great way to keep the littles busy while we wait for the thrill-seekers to to finish their attractions. We had been needing a new coffee table for a while and, when MoneySupermarket got in touch to ask if we'd like to be part of their Room For Improvement Challenge, we knew it was the perfect excuse to make something special! I've always dreamed of having a great way to display my squished penny collection, so Tom turned the top of our coffee table in to a shadowbox, with individual compartments for each penny.

Could never figure out what to do with all those pressed pennies from vacations and travels, so I decided to make a bracelet out of them.
