Gospel: An amazing word in today's Gospel describes Jesus's feelings towards the poor and marginalized: ἐσπλαγχνίσθη (esplanchnisthē). Normally translated as "moved with compassion," it's more accurate to say he felt it "in his guts." That's how much we should care for the poor.
