The Crucifixion Published 15th century

Jesus was flogged, carried his own cross to the place of his crucifixion (Golgotha), and was hung between two thieves. According to the gospels (the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John in the Bible), Jesus was buried in a tomb after dying on the cross, but three days later, his tomb was discovered to be empty.

This website presents works from my sacred art collection with meditations and religious texts in ways, I hope, will bring image and story together, as they were meant to be, and help us to see once again with the eyes of the heart.
