Hi Everyone! 🙂 I have got an easy Granny Stitch Star crochet pattern for you today. It's worked up in 3 rounds using sport weight cotton yarn and a 3 mm crochet hook. If you can crochet the basic stitches, you are good to go. Below you will find a video tutorial for the star as well as the written instructions. Hope you enjoy! Happy crocheting!😊 Video Tutorial: Written Pattern: Size: The star measures approx. 11 cm (4.3 inches) in diameter. Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate. Materials Used: Sport weight mercerized cotton yarn, size 2 - fine. I used Madame Tricote Paris Camilla yarn in the colorway 5309 (beige) and 5326 (grey). 4 grams of yarn needed for this pattern. 3mm crochet hook. Scissors. Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook. Abbreviations (US terms): st. - stitch ch - chain sl st. - slip stitch sc - single crochet dc - double crochet trc - treble crochet ch3picot - ch3, insert the hook into the first ch, yarn over and pull the yarn through all loops on the hook. ()* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated. Instructions: Start with ch5, join with a sl st. into first ch to form a ring. Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3. Round 3: ch1, 1sc between first st. (ch3) and last st. (dc) of the previous round, (4trc, ch2, ch3picot, ch2, 4trc) into next ch2 space, (1sc between the following 3rd and 4th sts, (4trc, ch2, ch3picot, ch2, 4trc) into next ch2 space)* repeat 4 times around. Join with a sl st. into first sc. Ch1, cut off the yarn, fasten off and weave in the ends.
