Colourful tile

This design was developed for a specific project, a tiled bathroom wall with a tub. The semi-circles splashed and swirled together and after a while the design began to resemble bubbles rising from the tub. The more we played with it, the more possibilities presented themselves: deep bubble baths; wild bubble baths; calm, shallow, effervescent and chaotic bubble baths. This combination of red, orange and green screen-printed ceramic tiles is striking way to make an impression with a tiled feature wall. The tiles are made by hand, fired, glazed, screen-printed by hand and then fired again so every tile tells the story of its production.
