Caffeine in occasional high doses can be useful if you need help feeling awake, but used every day; it becomes a crutch you rely on more each morning. I didn't want that. Instead, I cut the caffeine down to 1/7th the amount you'd get in coffee using cacao and masala chai so I could get energy without a drug: sleep.
