Shekou Gateway One comprises of a 100m office tower, coach park and a 3 storey naturally ventilated retail mall consisting of 5 pavilions linked by galleries and terraces. SPARK’s role concentrates on the architectural expression of the mall and office tower which draws from the site’s unique geographical location between the mountains and sea. The central pavilion of the mall is expressed as a lantern in a garden, a beacon visible from the streets.
