#packaging‬ #logo #advertising‬ by Dow Design; The packed, fat letters of "Simply Squeezed" expresses the content well as the letters look "juicy." The hand-lettering also approaches the consumer in a friendly way. The diagonal lettering of the packaging adds energy and movement.

#quotedesign #poster designed by POPLastic; The arrangement of the type (far left - middle - bottom) guides the viewer to read in order. The word "faster" also adds the effect of movement and spatial depth.

The linear structure really drags my attention in the direction the runner would go. Directional lines rule this.

#logo #typography (designer unknown); the "R" looks like a piece of illustration with the branch/leaves and the hand-drawn outlines. It evokes trustworthiness as the branch/leaves convey a sense of eco-friendly or all-natural remedies in context with the "skincare" next to the "R."

#poster (unknown designer; perhaps by Eldritch Priest); The poster is balanced with the words slanting towards bottom right and the lines in the opposite direction. It is very minimalistic with lots of negative space and fine strokes of the letters. The movement of the words don't seem "boring" at all, contrasting to the words. "boring formless nonsense." The muted colors create a calm and serene feel.

#quotetypography #letteringdesign (unknown designer); the "G" and the "D" are used as the ears and to close the space of the circle. The two "O"s make up the eyes. Using the letters as a part of the illustration makes it fun to look at. The words above and below the face are arranged to follow the shape of the face, which unifies the whole piece together. The sans serif (almost hand-written) font adds to the warm and friendly look.

#newspaper #coverstory designed by Kevin Jeffers; the loose arrangement of the words in the title balance the tightly packed block of body text. The block of text looks like it's the "food" (the content) of this page, being on top of the plate and centered on the page. The vast negative space and the tight arrangement of letters immediately makes the viewer focus on the text.

InDesign - Very interesting concept. It captures what I imagine to be the intended idea effectively.

#poster designed by Morag Myerscough via AIGA; although the "surface" of the type uses only white and a familiar font, the different colors and the depths of each letterform adds to the energetic theme. Having 3D blocks stretching down from the letters and the letters facing upper right corner, it looks as though the words are flying up to the right.
