TEMP Chair by Joo Ho Young Assembles Without Nails & Tools
Traditional Japanese carpentry is known for creating wooden furniture and even houses without the use of any nails or screws. It is done with elaborate wooden joints that interlock different wood pieces together. These are indeed woodworking skills for sure; however, South Korean designer Joo Ho Young did something different to make a chair that assembles without any screws and tools. He has come up with TEMP chair that utilizes a luggage strap to keep all the parts together.

Minimalism in all its glory – this in a nutshell defines the Single Cord Lounge, a lounge chair crafted from a single board of ash (designed by Josh Shiau).
