Zoar (‘refuge’, ‘haven’) village and mission station 21km E of Ladismith, Western Cape. Founded by South African Missionary Society on Elandsfontein farm (1817), named after Zoar by the Red Sea. Very old photo taken with very old camera. Please excuse bad quality.
