2008 - Introduction of Ferro-fluid Drivers for cooler operation and extended life span.
1987 - Hazard developed and installed the first Departure and Delivery Flight time table displays, in South Africa, at the then Jan Smuts International airport now known as OR Tambo International airport.
1988 Hazard introduced into the South african electronic manufacturing market the San Ming Drivers from Megavox in Taiwan.
2011 - Development of integrated Microphone and Controller with LED’s to program and display the Front and Rear LED’s in the Lightbar selected. Full control of all Siren tones and Emergency Lights.
2007 - Development of the Logic 550 Slimline Controller with LED display to program and indicate the Front and Rear LED’s selected on the Lightbar.This unit also controls all the siren and light functions including Alley and Spot Lights.
1990- Hazard was the first company in the world to develop a software driven emergency system in which the selection of a siren tone automatically activated the emergency lights. This integrated system also allowed for the selection of tone changes by means of the vehicle hooter.
1987 - At the request of South African Police Services Hazard Bonako's Etcher unit was developed making it possible to etch out deleted serial numbers from vehicle engine blocks, firearms etc. South Africa is the only country producing this product
