Kimberley Big Hole (South Africa). Kimberley is the home of De Beers Consolidated Diamond Mines, some of the world's richest diamond mines, and it is still considered to be the capital of the world's diamond industry. It was here that the famous Star of Africa was found, a magnificent 83.5 carat diamond.

Honoured Dead Memorial in Kimberley was designed by Sir Herbert Baker and built with red sandstone from the Matopo Hills in Zimbabwe. It was built to commemorate those who died in the Siege of Kimberley during the Anglo-Boer War. It was dedicated on Diamond City, India House, War Memorials, Cemetery Monuments, Trafalgar Square, Brickwork, Classical Architecture, U2, Zimbabwe
