how to turn your piano into a pentatonic instrument for the kids to play Meanwhile, so many of the songs we were singing throughout the days and  seasons were in D-pentatonic, as are our Choroi pentatonic flutes, and so I had  the idea to take a blue beeswax block crayon and gently color all of the C keys  and F keys on our piano. Then, by avoiding the black keys and the blue keys, our  piano became a giant D-pentatonic keyboard.
