Lockdown Image #52 on day 50 of lockdown from my Fortress of Solitude: This is a #CapeWeaver that was photographed in the #AddoElephantNationalPark. This is a common bird found in these parts and there is nothing spectacular about it (well, except that is quite a pretty bird). However, the plant that it is sitting in, is. This is called a ‘Spekboom’ (Portulacaria afra) and is a succulent that helps fight air pollution. It can ‘sequester’ or capture four to ten tons of carbon per hectare…
