3hr · 20 servings INGREDIENTS • 1 tbsp yeast • 2 tbsp sugar • 1/4 cup milk, warmed • 1 1/2 tsp salt • 5 tbsp butter • 1 egg • 6 cups flour • 2 cups milk INSTRUCTIONS • Combine 1/4 cup warmed milk with yeast and sugar. Set aside until foamy. • In a large bowl (I use my stand mixer) combine remaining ingredients, except milk. • Add in milk and yeast mixture and 1 1/2 cups milk. Mix together, adding in remaining milk if needed. • Knead mixture for 7-10 minutes. Shape into a ball, place back into bowl, and let rise for an hour, until doubled. • Place dough onto counter and divide into 24 sections (roughly 2.5 oz each). Shape into a ball and place on a baking sheet to rise four about another hour. • Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes. Top with a little more butter if desired.
