The Zodiac Killer targeted mostly couples from 1968 to 1969. 4 men & 3 women between the ages of 16-29 were shot or stabbed; 5 died. The killer got the name "Zodiac" in a series of letters sent to the press. The letters included facts only the killer could have known & contained a code he claimed would reveal his identity. The final letter from the killer was received in 1974. The case remains open.
