Mrs. Scales' crab recipe. yum. 1-3 lbs of Snow Crab 1 pouch Zatarain's Crab Boil 2 Inches of water 1 stick of butter (or 1/2 if you prefer) 1/2 of a twelve ounce beer (any kind) 2 heaping tablespoons of minced garlic (i love garlic, you can use more or less) Dash of salt from the big container Chicken Broth (as much as needed) Cap full of white vinegar (to make the meat come out of the shell easier when cracking) <3LLS
Low Country Boil. In a large pot boil about 3-4 gallons of water. Add 2 bags of Zatarain's crab boil and one sliced lemon. Bring to a boil add your potatoes (2 per person) and sausage (2-3 per person) boil for 10 minutes add your corn (2 per person) boil for another 5 minutes then add your crawfish and shrimp boil for 4 to 5 minutes covered. Remove from water and serve with garlic butter.
