Mid April, Aug. 25 to 28 for the park service’s birthday, Sept. 24 for National Public Lands Day, and on Nov. 11 for Veterans’ Day -- Entrance fees are being waived at Muir Woods National Monument and at Yosemite, Sequoia-King’s Canyon, Lassen, Pinnacles and Death Valley national parks as part of the 100th anniversary celebration of the National Park Service.
