You steep masses of fruit in absolutely gallons of alcohol for more time than you thought possible, and then bind it together with a few molecules of other stuff and bung it in the oven. It is sensational (although I never top it with the nuts, like in the pic. Don't need 'em.) I am under orders to make a new one each time the last morsels disappear....
