October is National Bullying Prevention Month so I thought it would be a great time to talk about kindness. Recently I posted about creating a kindness wall in my home to promote kind acts. Today’s activity helps kids think about how your words and actions impact other people. I did this activity with my own kids to help them understand the long lasting effect their words can have, even after they say sorry.
I hope you are able to use this fun little freebie with your class. My kids had a blast with it and it was an extremely meaningful bonding activity. Thanks for downloading - please leave feedback if you are happy with the product! I appreciate you!I really hope you enjoy my product!
This Wrinkled Heart activity is FANTASTIC for the beginning of the school year, or any time during the year when you need to have a quick, simple, and effective way to discuss the consequences and lasting effects of our words.
Chrysanthemum activity: Crinkle the heart every time she's teased and smooth it out when someone tries to make her feel better. Put: "Before you speak, think and be smart. It's hard to fix a wrinkled heart." on the heart with kids' names on bandaids at the end of the story.
