She wasn't even in Iran when she took off the hijab. Women in Iran who are caught not wearing the hijab are arrested and fined by religious police. Worldwide, most Muslim women who wear the hijab do so under threat of arrest, assault, shunning, or eternal damnation if they take it off in public.
