Pie Ranch Wedding, Part 2 I’m so excited to share these photos from a lovely, moody March wedding down the coast in Pescadero. At Pie Ranch, the plum trees had just burst into bloom, and the air was dewy and cool. Kente cloth was develoed by the Akan people of West Africa. Many of Akan live in Ghana and Ivory Coast today. Traditionally the cloths were for sacred and royal occassions. They feature bold designs and bright colors, each of which bears meaning. For example, black signifies maturity and strong spiritual energy.
