Woodstock 1969

I carried this pamphlet in my wallet for a while before the concert. Later I stuck in my Woodstock album.

Woodstock. My Dad was there, not far from the stage. He heard it was supposed to be a "small festival" on a farm. So they drove across the country and woke up in the field. So swesome that he was a part of something so truly epic. My own flesh and blood. Peace & love!

What would winter be without Snoopy and Woodstock... I miss Charles Schultz ~!~

I lucked into a pack of nearly-vintage cards by Art Image featuring classic holiday scenes by Charles Schult\z. Nothing brings a smile like the Peanuts Gang celebrating Christmas! Direct scans for your enjoyment! Please don't redistribute these for sale.

Check out the guy on the bottom right who is recording the concert...might not be an iPhone lol but that's pretty awesome

Although assigned with a brief to photograph what was happening on stage, Wolman found himself more inspired by the crowds of hippies than the performers

In 1969, John Lennon left The Beatles and became as well known for his activism as for his music. Here, the singer protests the Vietnam war in London with his wife, holding a sign that reads "War Is Over, If You Want It."

Today is the 42 anniversary of Woodstock. Woodstock was a huge event in 1969 where a bunch of sweaty, dirty hippies gathered together in a field drop acid and play in the mud.

I've always known I was born in the wrong era. Free love, Janis, and woodstock? I should have been there.
