Nothing more patriotic than flying a Canadian flag in this beautiful summer weather. A good indication of how much wind we are getting from the moving of this Canadian Flag. This is one huge flag that you can see blowing in the wind in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. It is located at the Husky Restaurant and is visible from the St. Catharines Skyway and the QEW to Niagara Falls, Ontario. This photo was taken in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. Ice wine production is risky. Curious as to how the balmy weather is going to affect the grapes used for ice wine. Normally the grapes are left on the vines to freeze and then they are harvested and made into ice wine. However with the mild winter the grapes have not frozen so the crops may be smaller this winter and with a smaller crop the price of ice wine may go up. About 75 % of the ice wine in Canada comes from Ontario. Photo Credit: Richard Trus http://www.pinterest.com/richardtrus/
