The #WSU Cougar-head logo was created in 1936 by Washington State College (WSC) student Randall Johnson. In 1959, when the college became a university, Johnson revised the logo at the request of President C. Clement French. The "C" on the logo became a "U." In that year, for a token $1, Johnson signed over creative rights for the Cougar-head logo to the university. #TBT #GoCougs
Very rare Washington State College textbook. This was before it became Washington State University (go Cougs! What is really great about this book is the well preserved book cover with the old WSC logos.
