US Marine Col. Michael Stahlman was serving in Iraq when he was found in his bed, mortally wounded with a gunshot wound to his left temple. Stahlman was medevac'ed and later moved to the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where he died two months later.
Dr. Arora was commissioned in the United States Army Medical Corps. He then completed his internal medicine internship at Tripler Army Hospital in Honolulu, follow by a Dermatology residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Dr. Arora served in a variety of leadership roles, culminating as Chief of Dermatology at Tripler Army Medical center, which is the largest military hospital in the Pacific theater.
