Nature calls: The original lavatory is in an old outhouse in the garden, and if you have an air raid shelter you've just got to have a gasmask ready for use - Ben keeps it in the hallway

Charlotte Street, Nottingham, at the end of the 19th century. The building in the centre of the road is a public urinal. Charlotte Street was one of many streets demolished to make way for Nottingham Victoria railway station, which was demolished after just 67 years in use to make way for the Nottingham Victoria Shopping Centre.
