I would like to plant some very fragrant plants to waft toward neighbors, rather than our current goat/duck breeze :-P. Heliotrope Marine is lovely and fragrant - think about where to put this. This particular variety is "tidy" and 18 inches tall; might be useful. Just beyond the milkstand? Back by where the compost bins are? They can take partial shade.
