Fireworks over Niagara Falls Every Fridays and Saturdays in Summer, the Queen Victoria Park hosts a spectacular firework display over the falls at 10 pm. One of the best spots to shoot the fireworks and illumination is somewhere near the Hornblower Niagara Cruise building in the Queen Victoria Park of Canada.
Like stars in the sky, these shining star left their shimmering tails on its ascent like a comet. The fireworks were part of the weekly fireworks celebrations in Niagara Falls, that are hosted by the Niagara Parks Commission on fridays and sundays. One of the best viewing points for the fireworks is Victoria Park, which is right close to the falls. From this vantage point you can see the falls from the comfort of a well maintained park. For this photo I kept the iris open longer to capture the trail of the pyrotechnics. This delay effect is known as painting with light. There is also a technique in pyrotechnics called a delay which is a composition that is used for timing between the ignition of firework elements, such as in a roman candle until the time of the fireworks exploding.
