While institutionalized, Van Gogh created “Starry Night,” his most famous painting, completely from memory. It now hangs in the permanent collection in New York’s Museum of Modern Art.

US‐based makeup artist, Lexie Lazear, has taken things a step further, transforming herself into famous works of art whilst documenting the whole thing on social media. The Singing Butler, by Jack Vettriano, Scottish painter.  One of the most famous paintings by Fife artist Jack Vettriano has gone on public display for the first time in two decades.   The Singing Butler can be viewed at Aberdeen Art Gallery.  It is part of an exhibition entitled "From Van Gogh to Vettriano - Hidden Gems from Private Collections".
