TRIUMPH SPITFIRE MK1 - A colleague used to drive me to work in one of these in the 1970's and eventually drove one for a couple of days. I was surprised how low the seating was and found it compared poorly to my magnificent TR6.

This is brilliant and so clever. Just bear in mind when you watch this that this is a relatively "simple" engine, from the good old days when a DIY guy could actually do this. Nowadays so many special tools and things are needed it does not make economical sense. Thanks to the creator of this. It brings back many memories. jp

A MkII Spitfire; my first car. Mine was this colour, with the removable hard top  soft top and was a whole lot of fun. I purchased the hard top second hand and transported it home on the rear seat (!) of my other car, an Austin 1800 MkII  (The Land Crab).
