Pronoun Etiquette: Thank you so much for this! I've made that self-flagellation mistake too many times.

Pronoun Etiquette: what to do (and not to do) when someone asks for different gender pronouns. I wish that asking for a preferred pronoun was a normal part of etiquette.

Transgender Day of Remembrance on November 20. To honor transgender individuals who have died from violence because of transphobia. Worldwide, one transgender person is murdreed every 3 days - that doesn't include deaths by suicide or accidents. Support our transgender community!

There are LGBTQ+ people of every kind. We must ALL stand together and not forget anyone or their own other battles

The quickly shifting language of the transgender community -Part of the difficulty in adjusting pronouns comes from the rigid, binary nature of English when it comes to gender. “In English you can’t refer to an individual in the third person without either gendering them or referring to them with a word that generally connotes lack of humanity—you’re either a he or a she or an it,” said Susan Stryker, director of the Institute for LGBT Studies at the University of Arizona. You are loved

Asexual, bisexual, homosexual, trasgender, pansexual all people just respect love and be kind to others.

Excellent chart. I have made the mistake of using "biological male/female" in a report. As a clinician I am constantly learning and correcting myself. Sometimes clients themselves will use outdated or negative phrases when referring to gender identity and expression, so following their lead or adopting their language may not always be the most clinically appropriate approach.
