I can still remember the smell

Vosene shampoo, what my childhood smelt like.

Soft centre fruit sweets...my maternal grandmother always had some in the cupboard (1950 - 56) in Nelson Road, Chingford.

These were hard on the outside and chewy in the middle - Pascal Fruit Bon Bon made by Cadburys. My Grandma Walsh often had them and I thought they were an absolute treat.

Delicious.  Got an ice burn on m tongue from one of these

These were my ice lolly of choice, although I also loved the cider flavor ones, which made me feel like a hardened drinker!
