This is our raised bed garden for 2014.  We used 6 pallets.  We cut about 18in. off the bottom of each pallet then screwed the pallets together.  We closed off the top of the pallets by recycling wood from our former raised bed garden.The inside is lined with a cotton sheet and burlap to hold the dirt in.  We filled it 2/3 of the way full with hay.  We will add a layer of compost,manure and top soil.  Then it will be time to plant!
