Star-Finding with a Planisphere, often made for a specific latitude - Phoenix is at approx.33.4500° N . Times are set for local mean time - in Arizona, we are always on standard time, no daylight adjustment. For each 1° west of your time zone's standard longitude, add 4 minutes (and for each 1° east, subtract 4 minutes) - Tuscon is -24 minutes, and Phoenix (2° further west) is then -32 minutes from clock time - so at 11:32pm, set your sky wheel to 11:00pm.
