I bought this chair for $30 on CraigsList because I liked the design. However, it is in pretty bad shape and until I have the budget for reupholstering it, I thought I'd camouflage the worn out and stained original upholstery with a bottle of Rit liquid dye, a paintbrush and my garden hose. It was super easy and I think the chair looks SO much better! P.S. This is the second time I've dyed an upholstered chair (see my studio for the other chair).
